Testimonials

“The best thing about it though is how easy it is to clean. My children love it too and are already wanting more chickens. Excellent value product!”

– laura

“We are now the proud owners of a Small Chicube and Run and two fab chickens. We cant fault the Chicube...its so easy that my children can clean it out.”

– Clare Pointon

“The Chicube (chicken house/coop) itself is fabulous. It is such a simple design there is nothing to go wrong with it. Its a complete doddle to keep spotless and very easy to move about despite its size and weight.”

– Helen Thompson

“This starter package is great, you get everything you need to look after your new hens. It's very easy to clean and it's very spacious for my 3 rescue hens.”

– April Radford
Little Hen Rescue
Little Hen Rescue is a centre based in Norfolk which re-homes ex-battery and barn hens as well as other poultry that is need of a new home. Chicubes are proud to be supporters of this charity. We have so far dontated a number of different housing units to them including two of our new walk-in Chicubes.

Jo, the organiser of Little Hen Rescue, has currently re-homed over 6000 hens, which we think is an amazing achievement. We hope to be able to continue to help Jo wherever possible and hope that soon enough she will have re-homed another 6000 hens.

Below you can see some photos of Little Hen Rescue and our Chicubes.

We have adopted some ex-battery hens ourselves from Little Hen Rescue. Below are photographs of the hens once they have been with us for different periods of time, showing how they quickly start to feather up and get use to their new home. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact us.

Just Arrived! The hens in this photo have been with us for just one day. You can see how bald some of them are. These hens have been out of the battery farm for just over one week.

Settling down for their first night, here they are pictured in our isolation Chicube, where they can be kept away from our other chickens until they settle in.
