This is a Chicken run for the Extra Large sized Chicube. Not compatible with other sizes.
This run is extremely strong, made from 10 gauge galvanised weld-mesh sheets. It comes with a hatch in the run to allow you to let your chickens out into the garden if you want to. The run is completely secure with the hatch flap closed. Around the base of the run is a fox flap (approximately 20cm wide) which can be pegged into the ground. This flap provides added security against predators such as foxes, stopping their ability to dig under the side of the run. We reccomend that you position your run on firm ground to further prevent the chance of a predator entering your chicken run. Pegs cab be provided to pin the flap to the ground if you require them.
There is a hinged flap on the roof of the run, allowing easy access to the door of of the chicken house, as well as easy access to food and water containers.
Dimensions: 2.5m long, 1.2m wide & 87cm high.
Floor area: 3 square meters.
This size of run is standard for the extra large size chicube, however if you would like a bigger run for your chicube please contact us and we will be happy to discuss your specific requirements. We encourage people to let their chickens out of the run, when you can keep an eye on them, to allow them a wider area as possible. Due to this a standard size run is more than adequate in most cases. If for whatever reason you wish to have a bigger run, you can easily add an extension run to the standard size at a later date.
