We are thrilled to present to you the very first complete starter package using rescued battery hens. We are now working in conjuction with Little Hen Rescue to bring you the best package including Rescued ex-battry hens. No other company offers such a complete package for such a low price.
The small Chicube chicken house. This chicken coop is perfect for two or three hens. Our chicken houses are designed for ease of use and durability as well as comfort for your hens. This small hen house is perfect for even the smallest urban garden or for an allotment. The house can be easily moved and has a number of different sized runs that can come with it. You do not need alot of space to keep hens, so if you were thinking of keeping two or three or already have a few chickens, this chicken house will be perfect for them.
What Do You Get

- A standard size white Chicube (600x600x650) which is very easy to clean with wipe down surfaces, great ventillation, full insulation, removable perches and nest box as well removable panels to make cleaning a breeze
- A strong galvanised wire mesh run with fox proof skirts (standard size 2ft x 6ft)
- 2 or 3 rescued ex-battery hens (your choice of 2 or 3)
- A waterproof shade cover, giving added protection for your girls
- A drinker
- A feeder
- A 20Kg bag of food
- A 12 month supply of wormer
- A bottle of purple spray, (antiseptic spray, brilliant for treating minor injuries, simply spray on)
- Some straw, so that your hens can settle in straight away, also meaning there is no need to rush out and get that last forgotten item
- A 'How to' booklet, explaining how to look after your hens
- A mini advice session on delivery of your pack on how to care for your hens, we will happily answer any questions you have
- Delivery is included in the price of the package, (we deliver every part of the package nationwide except for the chickens, some areas are too far for them to travel from our bases, however, we will always try to source ex-battery chickens for you from your local area if you fall outside our delivery area. We will then normally send you a voucher allowing you to hand pick your hens from a local source.
We make 3 standard run sizes for the small Chicube, the package includes the std run at 2ft x 6ft. However if you would like to give your hens more space we do a large run (2ft x 8ft) and a XL run (4ft x 8ft). The XL run has the house in one corner, giving you a floor space of 28 square feet in the run. If none of these runs are the right size for your needs we will happily make a run to you desired specifications.
Price £350.00. For every pack we sell £42.00 goes to Little Hen Rescue Charity. This is to cover the cost of the food, wormer, drinker and feeder as well as providing them with some much needed cash to help to recue many many more hens. As well as this for every 25 Chicubes that are sold, Chicubes will donate one of our walk-in Chicubes worth £999.00.
