         The solid oak Chicube hen house is designed with your hens comfort in mind but also with style and maintenance in mind too. Below you can choose between two different sized hen houses, one suitable for up to 3 hens and one suitable for up to 6 hens, both of the different sized chicken houses come with a removable resin and fibre glass liner on the inside which can be pulled out like a cleaning draw at the side. The cleaning liner is strong and robust and easy to wipe down or wash out with a hose. The liner protects the inside of the house from muck and mess and stops in grained dirt from forming, so no need to scrub and scrape. The perches sit inside the liner and can also me removed for cleaning too.

         The solid oak Chicube poultry house is completely predator proof and is finished off with aluminium metal edging and capping to make it completely robust. Both of the different sized hen coops have a removable roof so that you can gain easy access to give the house a really thorough clean every now and again. Each of the hen houses also comes with a removable floor which makes gaining access to the cracks and crevices where red mite and dirt collects so much easier.

          The pitched roof is tiled with western red cedar shingles. The cedar shingles weather brilliantly, need no maintenance and also help to keep red mite at bay. These solid oak hen houses are all hand made and finished in the U.K in Staffordshire. Each oak chicken house also comes with a hand made Chicube sign, however, please ask us if you want us to make an individual sign for you. Each hen house comes in natural European oak and is un-treated as standard. You can the either allow you new oak chicken house to weather naturally or to treat it with oil or preserver to keep the oak looking fresh and new.

           Each of our oak hen houses can come either with or without a strong mesh run. Please see below to choose if you would like one and which size. Each run is made using British steel which has been galvanised. The mesh we use is 10 gauge weld mesh which makes a heavy duty and robust chicken run. Each run is equipped with an opening roof for easy access to the inside of the run and also a chicken pop-hole for your hens to venture outside if you want. The opening roof and pop holes come with strong clasps to secure them. You can also choose an electric fencing kit. This kit is suitable for mains connection and comes ready to be connected. We do also offer battery and solar kits, so please get in touch if you need any further information. If one of our standard sized mesh runs is not suitable in size then please let us know the dimensions that would suit you best and we will be happy to quote you on it.
